Default Singapore - Chaos on Velocitron

Anyone have any contacts in Singapore that might be able to secure a Chaos on Velocitron set from Toys R Us?

I am passing through Singapore at the end of September, but I have a feeling that by the time I get there they will be sold out.

I really do not want to pay the "scalper" prices that this set is selling for on eBay and am no longer part of the USA community to ask for one from that part of the world.

Long shot I know, but you have to ask right

I have it, and the boxset is HUGE. You might just be safer to buy it online and avoid the hassle of lugging it about... or the risk of missing out. Nautica is GORGEOUS!
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

All online places I know are sold out (I did find a Japanese site that wanted over $400 for it - far too expensive)

Not to step on any toes, but if you are interested in this set and don't want to burden fatbot on his trip... the Velocitron set has just popped up on Amazon (sold by Amazon) for US$100 plus US$25 for shipping (for one).

I ordered two (one for me and one for a friend) and it came to AU$338... which is AU$170 each (the same price as in HK without shipping), and 15% less than the price it would be in Australia if ToysRUs ends up selling it here.

This unexpected, as it is supposed to be a TRU exclusive in America like everywhere else, so Amazon shouldn't be able to sell it.

It doesn't get released until June 17th (3 days time), so it will be interesting to see what happens on that date. (at least with Amazon it's not too much to worry about, because if it was a mistaken listing, or it wasn't meant to be available to export, they will refund the money quickly and easily - this could just be an option to try out first, and if it doesn't end up working, then fall back on fatbot's help)

Sorry... looks like it might have sold out already. But keep it bookmarked, and check back each day until the 17th, as they might get more stock in for its release.
