once again i noticed Shire-Cronulla bogans at the marches, drunk of course

I went to my grandfathers barracks for some memorial lunch, didnt win at 2 up, got free lunch though

Then had fish and chips with a family friend who was at Kakoda

Apparently there were 2 soldiers, 1 Aust, 1 Kiwi, who surprisingly said something to the effect that not all diggers were fighting for the british 'empire' perhaps we are finally becoming a country and not merely a colony.

A pity so many dead, wounded and families disrupted because of crackpot dictators or disputes that could have been solved over a game of Badminton. Football only promotes violence

I only went to my local RSL dawn service. its great to see that not even the rain kept people away. I know the ANZAC revival has been mainly because of people who are now in the early 20's to 30's but I was very impressed to see so many teenagers at the service.

Gallipoli service was good, but I missed the Western Front Service, hope it was done well.

    *looks around squinting*

Yeah I am only just coming too now...

Was a great day, won some money on my first attempt at Two-Up ever, acquired *cough* some RAAFie hats and consumed many a beer with a vast array of mates from both the ADF and civi world.

Was a great day, got to see the march to, after we finished our guard ceremony at the local RSL

We will never forget those brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifices for this country...
