I paid $80 for one (shipped) a month or so ago. Does that answer your question?

oh, you're right. There are crap pieces like Dinobot, Cheetor, Hot Shot and Grimlock that one should not pay $50 for. Galvatron, I don't know. The Henkei Galvatron does have very nice colours and paint apps, but its the design that bugs me...

How much do you think these would be worth -- I purchased them recently and wanna know if I paid a good price or not.

+ Universe Overcharge (the taxi Mini-Con) -- individual Mini-Con, loose
+ Timelines Flareup. Loose, no weapons but has Energon Chip.

    Thank you!

Can't find a MIB PCC Grimstone with Dinobots or Steamhammer with Constructicon set at any of my local woolies - is it worth $50 EACH online?

You could only do that if you knew the item number before the auction ended... or just add the item to 'watched items' and wait for it to finish. It is the best way to get an understanding on how much something is worth.

Of course it's a double-edged sword because if there is something rare that you are after which only appears on eBay once every so often, you take the risk of bidding without knowing it's full worth. I've seen many 'rare' items differ by hundreds of dollars over a 6-12 month period.
