I suggest running around some hobby shops. I have seen some small plastic kits of various ships from Starblazers (yes, not Yamato, Starblazers) hanging about in those shops. You know the ones, they sell model airplanes, remote controlled cars etc etc.

Yamato got a bit of a recentish revival with Yamato 2199 series, which the original story with a new look. they even use the same music (or incredibly similar).

check ou www.starblazers.com for some interesting info on toys. Of course there are some quality Yamato toys out and about. I have the Chogokin Yamato which is nice (and expensive) and there is a popito ( ?) version out which has more gimmicks, bot as smooth lights and is very rare and incredibly expensive.

But I'd suggest looking for one of the smaller kits in a local shop first.

Oh action figures...? I don't ever recall any to be honest. Although I do remember some jackets and stuff coming out for the live action movie a year or two ago.

    HLJ says no...

    I'd like some all right!

Second edit, ebay has this but I dont think that counts

third edit. people have some funny definition of what an action figure is...

Ebay has only revealed a Nova figure, an IQ9 and some glow in the dark dr guy one. none of them look very good

No space to display as well. lol

One of those things that I can let go. You must be a real fan to get this.

Being I am building dendrobium (gundam) measures 103cm long, its going to take up lots of my cabinet and I am pretty sure I don't have space for this.

It is a steal for whoever needs one.
