    I remember having him as a kid which was more blocky and shorter than the SOC counterpart...

    hmm....I am not sure you gotten the Godaikin DX version which is definitely way bigger than this SOC version. You might have gotten the ST version which is shorter? There is also a hybrid version in between.

    The godaikin version stands pretty tall. I do not have the piece with me as is back at my dad's home.

    I think you can score below $380 for this. Saw them for 22,000 yen.

    Im not sure. I don't use buyee. Check their site for fees. They should state how much they are.
    And thats Google's translation. I got beautiful article. Basically the item is in beautiful condition.

    It'd be the Goddaikin one I had as a kid. Pretty sure it was that one. I remember the arm joints.

    Well the soc has better way of not loosing the hands I think. Looks better than now. Of course the older version is worth more.
