Default Transformers product Qs for Hasbro AU.

Now that it seems that we can't rely on Hasbro US to respond to any of our Global Questions, this one (stickied) topic will be used for asking about Australian related product and issues.

I will be referring to the AUS exclusives release status topic when asking about future product here, but if you have anything specific that you want asked (that the local branch can answer), post it here.

The replies each month (hopefully) will then be posted in their own topic.

Standard disclaimer with this - the info given is as accurate as possible at the time it is given, but can change at any time. And, they have the right to refuse answering any question or stop receiving questions completely (or change any part of this arrangement). Since they are trying to reduce the level of fan/adult-collector 'hounding' of their Customer Service department, their answers would not be up for further discussion before the next month's submission, and they are likely to say that to anyone who contacts them about any of their answers here.
The idea of this is that it hopefully benefits us both (the fandom and Hasbro) in some way, or leads to better things for us fans from them.

    The December submission:

Are we getting any of the following here:
    - Movie Scouts 2-packs - Windy City Chase(Slapdash/Trenchmouth) Road Rival Showdown (Beachcomber/Deadlift)
    - Animated Arcee, Cybertron Ratchet (US TRU excl)
    - TF2 Movie Robot Replicas (not new, but should have been released months ago if we were getting them)
    - Black recolour of the Masterpiece Optimus figure (just released in Japan). Were you looking at importing it through Target like 2 previous ones (Ultra Magnus, Optimus w/ trailer)?

Also, you mentioned last month that we will be getting the NEST 2-pack (with Bumblebee and Soundwave). Does that mean we will also have access to the Mail-Away Ravage that the Americans are getting, or will we get the European-packed release that doesn't have the Mail-Away offer?

Any changes to the status of the following:
    - 93420 Movie 2 Battle Pack (Gathering at the Nemesis 3-pack) TRU (Nov release - Not out yet)
    - 93357 Movie 2: Voyager Exclusive (Fire deco Fallen) (TBC, originally slated for NOV)
    - Movie Constructicons Legends set - Target (MAR/APR)
    - Movie Nest Bumblebee Vs Soundwave 2-pack - Market wide
    - Movie Legends 2-packs (Bbee/Shadowstriker, Smokescreen/Starscream, Rally Mudflap/Offroad Skids) – Target
    - Movie 2 'Straightaway Shootout' (Legends Ironhide, Mudflap, Runamuck, Swerve, Sparkcrusher) - not at this stage
    - Movie 2 'Autobot Strike Mission' (Breakaway, Longarm, Rampage, Sideways) - not at this stage
    - Movie 2 Nebular Starscream - Unknown
    - Universe Minicon 10-pack - Unknown
    - Mighty Muggs wave 3 - TRU TBC

why didnt you put wheelie in the scout class? and if you dont make the other kitchen bots can a 3rd party obtain the rights to produce them?

I won't be asking those questions above, as they would need to be answered by Hasbro US (which we don't have access to anymore).

I haven't got anything back for the December submission, so just sent the following for January:

Just a couple of queries on items, as most of the new stuff was listed in the December Qs email.
1 - Shanghai Showdown (White Demolishor and IceCream Truck Twins - US ToysRUs exclusive)
2 - Movie Leader 2-pack with Jetfire and Optimus Prime (Asian Exclusive, but not for Japan)

If not already, try to get the Animated cartoon back on TV in some way, as there is heaps of Animated product hitting stores right now. We have quite a few new toys coming up, and a lot of the old toys being dumped on us for cheap. Plus we have the Australian DVD release just recently up to volume 6, with a boxed set also just in stores containing the first four volumes. With the interest in the Movie dying off (the toys are just too darn complex to keep a lot of the kids coming back for more, after the initial 'souvenir' phase of the Theatre/DVD season), and the next TV series is still probably a year away, I think now would be a good time to push the whole Animated Series in Australia again to keep the TFs brand in the minds and eyesight of the public. Most consumers will probably see it as a welcome, colourful change to the brand in stores, for their youngens, who are the target audience of TFs anyway.
Just my thoughts as a long time consumer/observer of the brand.

Hmm, here's some rough questiony things

Seeing as we know Ravage won't be a mail away, will we have another option to get him? Or just the long, drawn-out process of bothering people in America to get it for us?

Also, news on the Deadlift/Beachcomber and Trenchmouth/Slapdash two packs might be useful, although they haven't even been released in America yet
