What I really like about this is that for the first time, the microcassettes actually look like real microcassettes. From Autobase Aichi, and for Toys 'R' Us. Just a shame there's no Ratbat. Discuss.

Meh, pretty underwhelming. Clear soundwave is kind of cool for customising though.

Isn't that in the title? And yes, 2015 is the Year of the Goat(/Ram/Sheep), although giraffes are cooler. I wonder if the electronics on G2 Prime are neutered. If not, the clear deco could be cool. (Actually, it looks like battery information on the front of the box - hooray!) And we have to hope that's not GPS gold plastic, or combining that with clear plastic is really taking the piss.

Eww... half clear/translucent... it makes it look like a pre-production prototype.

They certainly know how to keep getting more and more expensive moulds to release each year as the Chinese Year toys. These are likely to be about US$100 each (or about AU$200 here).

And would it kill someone at Hasbro to take a picture of a G2 Optimus with his shoulders upright? They have been getting that wrong for so long.
