Default AFT-07 Titanian Saint (not-G1 Alpha Trion)

AoFeng Toys (another new 3rd party group?) has got their pre-orders for a not-G1 Alpha Trion up for a very demanding $114.99.

The figure does not look very big based on the metal pins used. Looks to be slightly shorter than your average Deluxe or perhaps in scale with the 2013 range of new Deluxe sizing.

Unless they're using this number just for kick, from the product code it looks like this may be the 7th release from this group - I wonder what the first 6 were?

Since they're decided to call him the 'Titan-ian' Saint I'm assuming that's a reference to IDW Alpha Trion. Why didn't they go with an IDW-verse alt mode?

I know that's not the final product, but the pictures give me this feeling that the plastic quality is weak as cardboard.

It's just the resin type they have used for 3D printing..ugly brand resin.
That said even making an exception for the materials used the sculpt appears to be a little uninspiring so far compared to what else is out there.

No intention of getting this but still interested to see how it turns out.
Any figure that comes with swords demands wrist articulation.

Needs to have the tumbler as the vehicle mode, and I would be all over it.

I think I will stick with my Botcon Alpha Trion

Agreed, the lack of sculpted detail suggests that.

Unfortunately not a whole lot of collectors has got Botcon Alpha Trion to fall back on!

I'd really like an Alpha Trion. This isn't the one that i'm looking for.

Nice that it transforms - may or may not be redundant in the advent of the recent Ex Gokin version.

Seems to lack the dynamism of 3rd party releases of a similar price point.
