    Anyone watch The Event?

I found it pretty interesting, then slow down to a crawl but it seems to pick up pace again.

I quite like the current series of Nikita. I was watching the other day and this guy was on.

Was that on last night? Damn I missed it. I've been wanting to watch that for a while.

Oh and hate to break it to you, but the show has been canned over in the states, so means there are only 20 episodes.

They always do that with new shows that I get into watching, The Cape I really liked, and they canned that. At least Spartacus is doing well.

@ 1AZRAEL1 - Just do what I do dude; wait until about the fourth season before you start watching a show. You'll avoid the disappointment of premature cancellation Started watching Big Bang Theory at the start of Feb and I'm only just catching up with all the 'new' episodes.

I got the episodes off The_Damned. Why do they cancel all the good shows. Nerd rage time methinks.

Bad ratings is what causes shows to get cancelled. I didn't mind No Ordinary Family myself, but the show's characters were too generic and I think too much of the show was spent on family matters, like in an ordinary family. The ending of the series was taking the series in new exciting directions, but I think it was too late by then. I think it kind of went through the same phase as Heroes, it was a show with a good/interesting premise but didn't make the most of in it's first season which is crucial to it's survival. (but then you have shows like firefly that get cancelled anyways because of not enough interest).

Btw, Julie Benz is the hottest milf ever.

Amen. She was great in Dexter too.
The show was good, then it got better but it was too late by then. Second season would have been good. Damn TV execs

Another series I really like (and hope it doesn't get canned) is Game of Thrones. This started slow establishing characters etc but a couple of episodes in it is so damn compelling I get pissed off when each ep finishes. Sean Bean is fantastic and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) as the randy, foul mouthed dwarf is excellent.
