Yep, they got me there. Pretty much the only reason I want that set is for Hux. I skipped out on Kylo Ren's Shuttle & the First Order Transporter when they were cheap, and now eBay prices are absolutely repugnant.

This second wave of TLJ sets have been very underwhelming. They really should have pulled out the Throne Room set earlier, however $100 is an insane price for 2 Praetorian Guards (assuming anyone that wanted Snoke would have gotten him with the First Order Star Destroyer) https://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore...FU9evQodNkYBhw

Anyone have (or can point me to a comparison) of the recent Lego X-Wings (Poe’s 75120 and Luke’s 75218)?

I have the TIE Fighter (75211) on my shelf and think it needs a companion. Luke’s makes sense as a pair, but I like Poe more.

I'm no Lego Star Wars afficionado but this review is pretty comprehensive, with a comparison of multiple X-wing models further down the page.

There's also this video but full disclosure I haven't actually watched it.

I have Poes and the older skywalker x wing. I know that there are a number of differences esecially in the back and the mechanism to open the wings. I really like Poes xwing so I never bothered with the new sky Walker one.

Thanks. That is helpful. Am leaning towards Luke’s and hoping to find it on special / clearance. Under $100 would be good.

Goodluck, Lego on sale is rare enough, unless they are the rubbish sets (the rathtar escape or half an imperial (first order) Walker sets.

I was hoping to find some older sets on sale at some regional toy stores but no luck... also no luck with the new 2019 sets either. Seems we will be waiting till late feb again.

Does anyone have any idea how long it will take for 2019 sets to show up at retail? I'm after the Speed Champions sets for 2019.

According to the Autobub's now very worn out 2019 catalogue, the Speed sets are due out in March.

Really? They are available now according to Lego's own website.

The ones with the March 2019 are the ones like the Mini Cooper. Are those available online now? Sorry not collecting this series so not sure.
