I find it interesting that when people exhibit tribalism over say, sports - it's accepted. How often do we see people going around with their favourite football or rugby team's logos etc. plastered all over their car or apparel? People are allowed to be proud and passionate about their sport teams (as well as other stuff) -- I don't see why we can't be proud and passionate about Transformers.

True but we don't have say a [insert favourite team] supporter going up to you and preaching or waving flyers and cards about.

Most people I know (TF fans or not) look at cars with TF badges and snicker...

I was thinking about this some more and was wondering, do these people you know also know that you collect Transformers and if so, what was their initial reaction?

I don't think it needs it's own topic, but has anyone else seen a little LCD display attached to the Transformers toy shelves at Target that when you press the button plays the trailer for DOTM?

I noticed it at Target St Marys on Saturday, thought it was kinda cool. It was about kids height (because of course, it's kids that buy these things right? )
