    Default Sixshot VS Hexatron

I'm hoping those who already have MMCs Hexatron can help me out.

BBTS has the reissue sixshot available for $120 (USD) at the moment, which seems like a decent price.

However, Hexatron is only $15 more.

    Which should I get?
    What are the relative sizes?
Which would fit better with a Classics era shelf?

If by "Classics" you mean Generations toys and their ilk then Hexartron by a country mile, if you mean actual classic G1 reissues then Sixshot.

There are plenty of comparison reviews between the two out there.
See for yourself and make up your mind.
Any figure that comes with swords demands wrist articulation.

What an odd comparison review. It's like he's shocked that Sixshot isn't as articulated or as poseable as the much newer, more expensive toy designed to be an articulated, poseable Sixshot with modern engineering. Bizarre.

Hexatron is actually not much more expensive than the latest G1 reissue and a lot less than a vintage piece.

Nevertheless, it is a silly as hell direct comparison.

Yeah I've always wanted a Sixshot because of how effortlesslty he took down the Aerialbots in The Rebirth (jobbing? Absolutely, but I don't care). Hexatron being the same price as a reissue could actually sway me if I had the cash.

He looks about as big as MP Grimlock. Anyone got a comparison with Classics Voyager Optimus?:P

Tell you what, I have a Sixshot in good condition from a few years back. My mother bought him back in the day and put him away and forgot about him, and then I found him when I was old enough to take good care of my TFs.
If you do end up going with Hexatron and don't like him, I'll happily trade you a loose complete G1 Sixshot + $15 for a loose complete Hexatron.
