Default SDCC exclusive Ultimate Optimus Prime

One of two SDCC exclusives this year is Ultimate Optimus Prime packed in vehicle mode in a very long Alternators-like bubble package, with a metallic red cardboard sleeve over it. Prime also comes with a sticker sheet for customising the trailer.

Hope Robot Kingdom and the other Hong Kong and Asia-based toy e-tailers get them in like they did with SDCC 2010 Blaster.

Careful - BotCon pics suggest he's just the regular figure, but packed in a fancy box. More of a MISB display piece, really.

Yeah was looking on BBTS.com and it just seems to be the normal ultimate prime. Cool but I only wanted it if it was the better painted one

People who own the toy or who have handled it say while it's very cool and imposing in combined mode, it has very limited articulation as the big robot. That's okay by me, but this appears to have angered people on other forums.

I would only really have been interested if it had got a special paint job. It does look great though.

According to Hasbro at BotCon, it is the same toy, just packaged in truck mode instead of robot mode (and with special packaging).
