    Default poor man's Battletrap

I can't bring myself to pay for a Botcon Battletrap, but I could afford a Springer, some paint and a few nights....

The sticker is a leftover from a reprolabels sheet for G1 Battletrap. The head is a G1 Topspin. I'm now having doubts about following the all blue head and face colour scheme.

A great likeness to the Botcon one and I also dislike the all blue head. It made the Botcon one look unfinished.

Painted the face a lighter blue. It hadn't finished drying when I took the pic

Once again, exceptional work, I see what you mean with regards to 'all the blue' I like the two tone approach to the face.

    I love the thread title.

As for the face colour, have you considered giving it a silver face à la Battletrap's box art?

Yes, but I figured that would remove the definition between his face and the visor. In my mind light blue is a steel-type colour

    Thanks for the comments everyone
