Falling a little behind schedule, issue 5 of the Unicron mini-series should be out this week, and a preview can be seen here.

What an awful issue this was, the whole miniseries has just been the pits. Let’s hope that IDW can pull off an event in the relaunch, because so far Unicron is making All Hail Megatron seem like literary genius and Dark Cybertron like a clear and simple story that made perfect sense.

Out this week is the compilation of the four issue Bumblebee Movie Prequel story... so soon after the individual issues were just out (I think the final issue was just two weeks ago). That seems a little rushed, as it is still two months until the movie comes out, and the TPB would have done better being released in the week or two before the Movie.

Speaking of IDW scheduling... it's been tweeted that the final three issues have been delayed (they were supposed to be out by the end of October). Lost Light #25 should be out October 31st, Unicron #6 should be out November 14th, and Optimus #25 should be out November 21st.

In a way I’m glad that it keeps getting delayed. The only book IDW prints worth reading survives a little longer.

They are going to have to fix their scheduling for the new book, not good for a new series to have 3-4 weeks delay right off the bat.

I'm a little concerned at what is coming next.

I kinda thought we'd hear updates by now. Main thing I'm hoping for is a non-shared continuity with the rest of the hasbroverse.
