Default New diecast metal knee joints for MP-9B Black Rodimus

I never thought I'd be able to do this pose with my MP-9B Black Rodimus!! Until now!!

So happy that I got these new diecast metal chrome plated knee joints from Robotkingdom, made by X2 Toys. Beautiful replacements for the very fragile plastic aqua joints on the original figure. So good that there is absolutely no risk of damage when articulating the joint, and that the joint fits in perfectly with the overall aesthetic of the figure, like it was always meant to have chrome knees!

Video of the process I went through to change it, and a closer look at the joint and the reassembly, is uploading now. Stay tuned

For those interested, here's my video showing how to do the replacement of the Transformer Masterpiece MP-9B knee joints to the new diecast metal ones.

Such a small change that makes a massive difference to the figure! I can actually move and transform this sucker now!!! YEAH!!!

Diecast knee joints finally allowed me to transform this bad boy into his alt mode! And after a 50min, exceedingly frustrating transformation, he's finally there and all pegged in properly too!!

Love it the alt mode on MP Rodimus. The styling is just bad ass!

Now you just need to turn it in to Rodimus Prime's vehicle mode

And if you do that, make sure the paint doesn't scratch off the spoiler. The regular MP09 had problems with the spoiler scratching as you hook it up to the trailer. Easily fixable with a file to open up the gap a lil more.
