Foreign first-release TOY sightings

Wave 3 & 4 DotM HA Basics have recently been found in American retail (although, Wave 3 (Dragstrip & Halftrack) have been out for about a month globally and at online stores).

Wave 4 is Reverb and the redeco Crosshairs.


Plus Wave 4 Voyager Cannon Force Ironhide.

Wave 5 DotM Deluxes (AirRaid, Darksteel, Armor Topspin) have been found at American retail.

So... how far behind are we now? I've lost count.

Well, the first wave was pretty much everywhere. (Ratchet, Skids, Bbee, Crankcase, Roadbuster, Starscream)
The third wave then appeared next at a couple chains (Laserbeak, TCracker, Mudflap, Nitro Bee)
And then the second wave started appearing at a couple chains as well (Topspin, Barricade, Jolt, Swipe)
Wave 4 has only been sighted at a couple stores (Red Ratchet, Cyberfire Bee).
(and Wave 5 is now out in America)

So, technically we aren't behind... we just aren't getting the newer waves to enough stores for collectors to find them.

US Walmart exclusive Dlx Track Battle Roadbuster has been sighted in America. It's just an orange redeco with the same weapon.

Wave 4 DotM Legion wave is out in America, which is just Soundwave as the only new figure.
Plus, another Walmart exclusive Dlx Optimus is out (Lunarfire Optimus for just US$10), so Walmart appear to have a monopoly on that mould, and now have two different decos of it.

Aaaand, the Americans have finally got the TRU Streetside Bot Brawl too.


It's always funny to see these "first sightings" on American fansites, and then having several people suddenly saying that they saw it weeks before but didn't bother posting about it.

there's also the new DOTM deluxe wave out with Dark Steel, Air Raid and Amored Topspin..., i have not seen Lunarfire Optimus on the shelves in Singapore yet

It was the first time I saw the sighting of Legion Soundwave on the global fan-forums, but as I had noted, people will see figures for a week or two but not mention it until after someone else posts it and it becomes a news item.

We are just so far behind on some of these figures.... I'm posting more new stuff in this topic than in our own 'first sightings' topic.

Rescue Bots Wave 2 (Chase) has been found at US retail. Wave 2 & 3 (Blades) have been out for a while though, as BBTS had them over a month ago.

Speed Stars Minivehicles Wave 2 have also been found at US Retail. Only Leadfoot has been mentioned, but there should be other figures in Wave 2, including the third Beast Machines deco vehicle, Stealth Force Roadbuster, and the re-release of earlier Metal Heroes vehicles.

And the 25th Anniversary Unicron has been found in a Canadian TRU store... instead of Costco, as people were expecting.
