"Weaker than expected in Voyager and Deluxe class, Legends and Leaders were great"

"While it would be great to finish the dinos, volcanicus is am utter disappointment - opportunity missed!"

"I think there was a bit of a downgrade in release quality from Titans Return to Power of the Primes but overall having some more obscure figures appear like BattleTrap made it worthwhile."

"Favourite Power of the Primes Deluxe toy: Battletrap"

"It's unfortunate that the power of the primes line release was so limited in Australia forcing people to purchase from overseas"

"Nice finish to Prime trilogy, although there needs to be some combiner gaps finished. I am really hoping for Seacons out of the Terrorcons"

    Some additional comments
"Studio series has been great, if a bit bumblebee heavy. Really looking forward to it progressing. Though the figures based on the Bee movie were kinda lacking in accuracy for obvious but unfortunate reasons"

"Didn’t buy any and won’t buy any but very young family members liked the bumblebees. Guess if you don’t have any experience with good toys, the movie garbage seems alright."

"The legends class and studio series movie bumblebee toys are golden, great blend of cost effective, classic and modern styles"

"The way that the kids line is going is somewhat concerning, as they are returning to the mantra of "it has to have a gimmick, screw it being a fun action figure"

"Studio series was a big step up from all the tlk repaints so cant complain"

"Really needed a triple-changing Shatter and Dropkick as well as a Blitzwing that turns into a jet"

    Fiction part 1: Movie

    Favourite Transformers character in Bumblebee
    Winner: Bumblebee (57%)
Runner-ups: Optimus Prime and Shatter (16% each), Dropkick (8%)

    Winner: Revenge prank (28%)
Runner-ups: Hiding at the beach and Bumblebee's choice of inspirational music (14% each)

    Some additional comments
"Delivered everything I expected and more. Not ground breaking in any way but great to take my five year old daughter and possibly the best human/bot relationship since Terminator 2."

"Good. Not great. Heads and shoulders above the Bay sequels, but probably not as good as the first 2007 movie. The emotional storytelling was good, but it really clashed with the ultra-violent fight scenes. Unsure how to remedy."

"This movie was fantastic in every sense of the word. Best live action movie yet."

    "A fantastic movie"

    "Amazing film"

"I am slack haven’t been to see it yet"

"Yet to see at this current moment"

    "I haven't seen it yet!!!!"

"Hopefully a sign of things to come but the Box Office was weakish."

"The previous five films set the bar so low, Bumblebee didn't even have to be that good to be the best modern Transformers movie - which it is. Bumblebee himself had some really great character and facial animation and I really liked that the film spent some screentime developing Charlie & Bee's friendship & characters."

"Wished the whole movie be based on cybertronians only and not humans, like the 1986 movie. The animation in the cybertron scenes blew my mind."

    Fiction part 2: Comics

    Winners: Megatron (32%)
    Runner-up: Rodmus (20%)

Favourite moment in Transformers comics this year
    Winner: Onyx Prime reveal

    Some additional comments
"Other than when I was 8 years old, this is the first time I've been pulled into the Transformers comics, and I consider MTMTE/LL to be one of the greatest stories ever told (beyond Transformers). Absolute magic."

"Sad that the journey of the lost light (and the entire IDw universe) has come to an end. Weary on if future series will be as good"

"Thank goodness the IDW verse has ended. It started so well and then ebbed and flowed, waxed and waned, every new event and the shared universe tried to kill it off but in the end, it was a nasty stinking mess in the Prime book, the Unicron event was utter garbage and completely unreadable."

    "Yay - No more Hasbroverse."

"MTMTE/LL will be sorely missed, and hard to copy or beat."

"Ending felt rushed but I appreciated the way they tied in many storylines back into one again."

"Keep meaning to read them, keep running out of time."

"I think it was time for the end of the IDWverse but it will be sad to see them go. Looking forward to see what is next."

"Designs are too G1 for many characters. Pacing feels too rushed at times"

"Couldn't make it through the first episode..."

"Not really my cup of tea but its actually markedly better than i expected, and i was actually very curious"

"Hope to see more of it. It wasn’t as bad as I thought"

"Some good G1 shout outs and good to see the Seekers getting a proper outing (even if Thrust is no longer a Conehead and they can't decide on Acid Storms gender)."

Thanks again Paulbot. You put in a fair bit of work into this poll every year and we all really appreciate it. Glad to see you recognised for that and your other contributions.

A huge congrats to Paulbot, not only for doing a typically fantastic job of the awards this year, but also winning the big one himself! Well and truly deserved.

And thanks to all who were kind enough to vote in my direction in the creative field - it is very much appreciated. I felt like this year belonged to Snaketales in this area, he has been extraordinarily prolific and his work has been stellar - especially that Monstructor!

    Well done to all!

Great stuff Paulbot and congrats to the member winners, well deserved.

I can't recall if Movie Masterpiece was included in the Masterpiece category but it would be great if it was given it's own category in the movie toys section. Seems like the line is going to continue.

Just echoing everyone else with the gratitude to Paulbot for another great fan awards... and finally a well deserved Member of the Year (it was just a shame that someone else had to selfishly make you share the award - maybe next year it will be yours alone).

Good read Paulbot. Thanks for all the work.

    Yay Beachcomber! Yay Blot!

I find it crazy to think that not a single 3rd Party toy got 2 votes?

Thanks for all your work on this Paulbot, collating the data and releasing the results so promptly as always. Not as many surprises this year as others, but that's to be expected with the smaller amount of toys and media presence the series has right now.
