It's Official - MP-36 is a new Megatron

I wonder how many people will rebuy the cassettes to get a set of left and right piledrivers? First time they were released a bunch of people got two left or two right piledrivers instead of one left and one right. I got lucky and had the correct allocation but if I didn't it would bug me to this day.

My Rumble came with two Right Piledrivers. I contacted TakaraTOMY who sent me a replacement pair of Piledrivers with an apology letter. So I have two spare Right Piledrivers, so if anyone needs a Right just LMK. Although I made this offer over 3 years ago - I initially waited to see if anyone had two Lefts to do a swap but nobody said anything, so I gave up and bugged TakaraTOMY. 3+ years later and I'm assuming that nobody out there has two Left Piledrivers. There must've been a faulty production run where they just made too many Right Piledrivers.

Looks official as fans can do box designs better than Takara Tomy nowadays

The sketches don't looklike Hasui or Kobayashi's style, especially the shading study. Saw this dude's name next to the first concept sketch. Maybe he's responsible for the concept design like what he did for MP Hot Rod?

That literally looks like Bayformers transformation sequence where a million tiny parts somehow morph into something. Cant wait!

The amount of tiny parts on this thing scares me. There's bound to be quality control problems.

Going by the skerch it looks like Megatron will be slightly taller than MP10 Prime.
