My previous experience with Beachcomber was the G1 version in primary school and that was good but this of course is better.

P.S. Love how the roll cage clips together.

Great robot mode, love the headsculpt, it’s perfect! Very G1 haha
Simple transformation but I like it. Vehicle mode seems a bit long, not a dealbreaker though. Overall, recommended, looks good on a classics shelf with his minibot friends.

Anyone else have what appears to be black texta marks on their hips? I looked at the ones at Toy Mate today and they all appear to have the same

Got mine today. I'm really impressed with the peaceful blue guy. Big thumbs up.

No, that was at the Hasbro POTP reveal event on December 18. They had 2 of each toy there, but we weren't allowed to keep any as Hasbro uses them for trade displays.

I love this little guy so much, my only complaint is he's a bit cong compared to previous versions. That aside, one of my favs of wave one

I picked up the exact same Japanese release not so long ago. I like him, although he seems a little "bloated2 when comared to the Legends minibots (Bumblbee, wheelie etc) He seems to fit in well with Seaspray though.

Vehicle mode seems rather long and robot mode is kinda pudgy too. But it is a nice looking Beachcomber and looks like I would want an updated one to look.

I like it, but not as much as I thought I would

That pose looks really sus, like Beachcomber is humping a dune buggy. Jus saying
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

This is a good example of a figure that feels like a remake of the G1 toy. In my hands it feels like the G1 toy, just in the right size for my adult hands in comparison to the original toy I played with a six year old.

Another step or two of transformation complexity would not have gone astray, but otherwise a great one to pick up.
