Apparently, this was teased months ago, but if we had a thread about it I couldn't find it.
As reported by BWTF.com, here is a teaser pic TF Yuki just tweeted out:
He doesn't appear to make any mention of a name for the combiner, so I'm just using Optimus Maximus for now. According to the tweet we might be finding out more about this set next month.
So, Masquerade bots or the same hasbro team in show accurate decos?

Looks like the same Hasbro Optimus Maximus team...many are hoping for the masquerade team

I may get this if it has show accurate colours and isn't another Mall exclusive (grumble) or a shop doesn't start selling them for $20 each again (yay).

Just when I was weighing up getting the Hasbro version TT finally say something new about their version.
I have a list of all G1 characters that have been released in CHUG form. You can find it here. Please feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong so I can fix it.

Sadly I think the limbs are matching the Energon drone colours more than the G1 masqurade ep. But there are better drone molds out there so i is still konfused??
