Optimus, Jazz, Starscream and Megatron 4cm tall gacha figures, rrp ¥300 each, releasing in December.

They finally replaced Bumblebee with Jazz, haha.

You'd think you'd get all of them in a box of 8 but I totally missed Lockdown out of the QTF chibi capsules, so still a gamble.

Very cute but they look quite similar to the Kabaya pack that was released last year.

Strange that you missed out on a fig from the pack of 8 QTFs. My HLJ order for this hit a discontinued and then cancellation. Ah well...

Just how many TakaraTomy employees did you have to harass/bribe/blackmail to get them to finally feature Jazz.

Man that's really frustrating. :/ HLJ needs to work on handling their inventory better, stuff like that seems to be happening more often with them. Did you end up finding the set somewhere else? Theres one on ebay, and quite a few on yahoo japan and rakuten if you use a proxy.

And yeah, you're right, they do look a bit like the kabaya D collection (if anyone else wants to know what they look like). I couldn't remember what they were called until you mentioned it.

I'm glad they finally added a different character. Would've been nice if they swapped Soundwave for Starscream. I don't mind these type of minifigs, but I wish they would have a bit more character variety. Op, Megs and Starscream really just start to look all the same in these type of lines. Only so much design variation can be made with something this small.

They look neat, I won't be buying a whole box just so I can get a Jazz but if someone has a spare Jazz they want to get rid of, I'll take it off your hands.

The second wave has been announced for June, and said to include new figures Ironhide and Soundwave, with redecos Skywarp (from Starscream) and Black Convoy (because it wouldn't be Japanese if there wasn't a black redeco somewhere).
