    Default Lightpack - ambient backlight for your Display

    I just got this LED Lightpack - It is ambient backlight for your monitor ....and it just Awesome!!! it changes the colour of the light in the background behind your monitor when you watch movies or play games....the only thing is that it only works with a computer ....it very easy to set up... just sick the led strip to the back of the monitor and a usb to the computer.

    Nice. Harvey Norman had a TV a while ago that had the same effect, but nowhere near as good.

    My dad's old Philips plasma TV has this effect but yeah nowhere near as noticeable. It actually looks pretty cool like this!

    Pretty cool. It'd be nice if it wasn't so expensive.

    USD$80 shipped is quite reasonable, but a shame it only works on a computer with accompanying software.

    yeah i found it reasonably priced as well... and i did wish it worked independently with a TV . They said that they are working on one, but the main reason is that patent the Tv company has over the raw signal ... so they trying to work that out , but they just a small company and couldn't paid the out right royalties
