It's been a while since it was first teased, but now we get another teaser, which suggests that the Japanese Bruticus is still some way off.
But now we see a silhouette of Blast Off not looking to be a redeco, and Vortex with four rotors instead of two.

I'll hope that this is true as Tak/Tom are pretty good at coming up with the goods on this kind of thing, but I think the article is reading a lot into that silhouette

Time to get my wallet out again.
I have a list of all G1 characters that have been released in CHUG form. You can find it here. Please feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong so I can fix it.

As Grand Galvatron is due end of April, it is probably on a June release as this one will need heaps of retoolings and some new design considerations that we only have seen since Defensor (which got delayed still btw)

Anyway im happy im going back to UW series since i skipped both Convoy and Galvatron sets

I know we've said this before but I do hope we get Hasbro versions of Groove & Blast Off like we did Slingshot & Wildrider. Even if this Blast Off is a minor reshell, I'll pick those up in an astro second!
WANTED BOTS: G1: Horri-bull, Snarler, Mainframe, Chop Shop, Ransack CHUG: Spin Out, Cordon, Brotropolis Rescue MASTERPIECE: Acid Storm

This should be really good. CW Swindle is so good but I'd have to get rid of him if I got Takara Bruticus.
    Seeking the Following:
    - CW Brawl
    - Earthrise Runabout
    - Earthrise Thrust

You could display UW Bruticus and CW Swindle? I'm keen to grab a cheap CW First Aid if it ever pops up to display w/ combined UW Defensor.

You can see an aerialbot cockpit connector on blastoff, but this goes to a more rounded, larger front piece.

Also shots of Computron show what could be larger wings in the rear of a plane mould.... Another thing blastoff could utilise
