Default Toy Review - TAV26 Override

    Name: Override
    Series - Transformers Adventure
    Size/class - Legend
New/remould/redeco – Redeco of CW Groove
    Wave - 3
    Released here - No
    Approximate Retail Price - $18
    Approximate Size – 10cm
    Allegiance - Decepticon
    Alt-mode – Police? Motorcycle
Main Features/Gimmicks – Can combine with some gestalt chests
Main Colours – Blue, Red, Silver/Grey
    Main Accessories – None

Here we have Takara's version of the CW Groove mould, and as they're releasing they're own exclusive Deluxe size Groove, they've made him a new character, more specifically, the Triggerbot Override (G1 Version.)

Colours are obviously a lot brighter than Groove, but other than that, there are no differences between the two. Still has no weapon, which I find a little more important for Override than Grooce, as he's going to be standing alone on my shelf, rather than as a combiner chest plate - may end up giving him one of the pistols from the iGear Kup/Perceptor weapons kit, as a pistol just seems like the right type of weapon for this guy.

For some reason this guy sold-out at almost every retailer online, a lot quicker than his wave mate Runabout, I was lucky and snagged the two from Chimungmung (where they're still available as of time of posting).

    Worth it?
If you're looking for an updated version of the old G1 character, yes.
If you're looking to pad out your Autobot army, yes.
If you're looking for a more colourful version of Groove, yes.
If you only collect one of a mould, or the character doesn't interest you, probably not.

EDIT: Will snap a shot soon of him as Defensor's chest plate

I was really annoyed at how quick he sold out. Luckily Krayt snapped up an extra one for me that he is going to send on when he gets his HLJ order shipped.

It's a real shame he doesn't have guns, since it's a new version of a Triggerbot, but I think they have done a really good job here in both modes and can't wait to get him
