In IDW comics Sunstreaker's clones add black (as well as red and non police car white) as an option.

Given the way the chest is formed and how you could hide the jet pack in car mode, you could maybe squeeze out a Breakdown retool...!

Doubtful, given that the combiner limb transformation would also need to be engineered.

Depends how lazy they get, I suppose (although that's more Hasbro's jam than TT).

Doubtful though- if we get the Stunticons, we'll get them being able to form Menasor and that would require so much retooling that they'd essentially need to start from scratch.

Last year I was talking to the designer of Spinout (he actually lives in Canberra), and he was saying that most of the 3rd PArty stuff is actually designed by either current or ex HasTak designers. As such, I reckon the best indication of what we'd get would be the 3P not-MP Stunticons.

The same page now has more images of the car mode. This sample looks less gappy and the paint job more glossy in alt mode compared to the earlier photos from the Generations 2018 mag.

Not surprising, the one we saw was probably an earlier revision and I imagine it's easier to fix a mold to increase a dimension on something than reduce it.

I don't think so, that was just an early prototype without ye olde Chrome
