Default Uncle Iceburns Tech Help Desk

Ok folks this thread is definitely one that's been needed.

When faced with troubling obstacles as regards to forum use and options or you just want a bit of advice on what dress to wear on that date with the hunky motorcycle guy from across the road then come and sit on Uncle Iceburns knee, receive a free wowwipop and ask away...

    I'll go first...

"Unky Iceburn...I can't find the advice you gave on increasing the number of posts viewed per page. Can you please repeat that for me?"

    "Thanks in advance Unky!"

Note: might not be the best method...but it works

    Steps
    ------
    1. Click on User CP
    2. Click Edit Options (or you can click on this link direct)
    3. Scroll down to the 3rd Group Menu called "Thread Display Options"
    4. Go to the 3rd framecalled "Number of Posts to Show Per Page"
    5. Select the preferred options listed such as:

    - Use Forum Default (currently, this is set as everyone's default)
    - Show 5 Posts Per Page
    - Show 10 Posts Per Page
    - Show 20 Posts Per Page
    - Show 30 Posts Per Page (mine default now)
    - Show 40 Posts Per Page

    6. Once option selected, click the Save Changes button (at the bottom of the screen)

    Hope that helps...

I played around with options yesterday. Most of the options weren't as good as I thought they'd be. But the more posts per page definitely is a favourite of mine

Not sure if this is relevant - it's technical but not about the board.

Recently my digital camera doesn't seem to recharge properly. I always recharge my camera after I use it, but recently even after it appears to be fully charged (with the battery symbol indicating that it is full) the power seems to be draining a lot quicker. When I first bought this camera, I could go around shooting heaps of photos without needing a recharge. Now it only lasts for not even a few hours before blinking that red "empty" battery icon and soon showing other signs of being depleted of power.

I haven't owned another digital camera before this - and it's about 2-3 years old now... so what I'm curious to know is - does this mean that the rechargeable battery has run its due and I need to buy a replacement?
