Default Rescue Bots Bumblebee Rescue Repair Station playset

A new Rescue Bots playset has been found, and it features Bumblebee (who isn't even one of the main cast-members of the cartoon - he only had a cameo in 2 of the 26 episodes... it's like having a first-season TFPrime toyline that mostly features Wheeljack toys).

The format of this playset is new though (compared to past Rescue Bots playsets), and suggests that there will be more sets to go with it. (but don't appear to allow for interlocking though, which would be a shame if true)
It is very small, and very compact, in that you can tell that it folds up well, like a map. As such, it looks very thin and flimsy, especially for very young kids this is being aimed at, who have less developed care or finesse with their motor skills.

The box looks to only be 20cm tall, which makes it the same size as GTR (the new JP Alternity) boxes, or about the height of a CMDR class backing card. Yes, that small, as the figurine in the box window is the same as the recent 2-pack figurine sets, which is 9cm tall.

At least it will be good for those with limited storage space, or limited time to pack up their kid's toys.

Not sure about when this is being released, but could be in the next couple months... which should be when the second season of the cartoon should be airing in America (it has been long enough since the first season).

An update... yes, after just a couple minutes.

Looks like they can interlock, if the box includes special connectors like the Marvel Superhero Squad sets had.
Now I see why this playset didn't look/feel like it was from the Rescue Bots cartoon (especially the missile-launcher bit, in a cartoon that doesn't have weapons). It's disappointing to see that this Rescue Bots playset is just a redeco of one of Hasbro's Superhero Squad playsets from 2010. They were too cheap to at least create something new in the same style of those SS playsets... they just recoloured something from another toyline and boxed it up as "Transformers".

(talk about being cheap... the original SS sets had two figurines included - the Transformers version only comes with one)
