    Default custom cloud Rodimus Prime

oh my gawwwwd the paint rub

I'd hold it somewhere to fix up one spot, then the place where I held it needed a touch up, then the place where I held it for the second touch up needed one.... in the end I had enough, so here it is.

It's a repainted Springer with a universe Silverbolt gun.

I started off following the Cloud colour scheme, but I didn't like the car mode so I made some alterations.

I prefer to think the helicopter mode does not exist.

What joints are the main offenders of paint rub? I have a spare springer that I want to repaint as chromedome (size wise he'll go well with TR Rewind)

    Hi!
The knees and the elbows come to mind. A lot of the connecting tabs were also bad, but that could have been because of the paint I was using. The wrists are also dodgy - there didn't seem to be a lot of clearance for them to swing back into the forearms.

As a display piece (which this will be primarily used for) it's fine.

Funny story: I too was going to make a Chromedome out of this mold, but am happy with what Hasbro's planning. I was going to try use a Brainstorm head for Chromedome's. I did some rough sizing, and it looks like it could have worked once I got the neck connection sorted out, but didn't go any further with it.

    Thanks

Yeah, I got the idea after seeing a 3rd party chromedome review.
