I think it is an okay price, if you haven't preordered Wheeljack and want one now, given the weaker AUD, it comes to something like $85 to $95 after postage, so $99 isn't too horrible.

Hasbro is doing a special import from Takara, as they did with 2004 MP Ultra Magnus et al. The booklet will be in English though, unlike Takara's which would be in Japanese.
it's pricey, but that's beyond Hasbro's control. That would be TRU's call. But yeah, it's not cheap.

Edited title to prevent further confusion - Hasbro announced US versions of MP Sideswipe and Bluestreak for 2015 at BotCon, but this is just Hasbro Australia doing another special import through Hasbro HK of a Japanese Transformers product... complete with Japanese packaging.
At least TRU learnt their lesson from the MP Ghost Starscream, that just because it looks nice and appears to be a premium item aimed at adult collectors, it doesn't mean it should be over-priced to cater to our bigger budgets. Now if only Myer would learn that as well...
