Default Combiner Wars Wreckgar - how does it fit on SkyReign?

There is still no official word from Hasbro about how Legends Wreckgar was going to attach to SkyReign (as that Combiner's partner Legends toy, hinted on early official packaging images), and I couldn't quite figure it out based on the vague description I got from the Hasbro guy responsible for Combiners (at BotCon). So I did a search online and found this image gallery that suggests that it could be shoulder cannons (legs on the shoulders with the heel/barrels pointing forward, arm pegs plugged into Sky Lynx's wings on the back).

It doesn't really match what I was told at BotCon (the actual wording was along the lines of "it looked too much like a motorcycle plugged on the back as a shoulder cannon, so it was scrapped" )... so as much as that one looks pretty good from the front, it doesn't match the verbalised description I was given.

So this was my attempt at attaching Wreckgar to SkyReign (with Aerialbots as limbs because they were on-hand at the time). It fits the description of a back/shoulder cannon that just looks like a motorcycle sitting on its back.

    .

Anyone else have any ideas or have done something with their Wreckgar for SkyReign, because it feels a bit left out for one of the six combiner waves to not have a sixth team-member.
    Wave 1 - Aerialbots/Silverbolt have Powerglide.
    Wave 2 - Stunticons/Motormaster have Blackjack.
    Wave 3 - Protectobots/Hotspot have Groove.
Wave 4 - Autobot cars/BattleCore Optimus have Rodimus.
    Wave 5 - Combaticons/Onslaught have Shockwave.
Wave 6 - Autobot cars/SkyLynx initially had Wreckgar, but was dropped before it was released, and before the packaging and instructions were printed.

Looking at Skylynx i don't see a way but...

There was this gun mode using Legends Groove. But not sure if Skylynx's weapons can pull it off

Do you have one arm down the back and plugged into the wing?

I had tried something similar first too, with it looking like a shoulder cannon, but it was just too loose (falling off sometimes) with just one post-point, so I went with the over-the-head option because it was more secure with both arms attached to the wings.
