Looks like the EVA Convoy Masterpiece toy is now out in Japan. A new bit of art has been released on the TakaraTomy site, along with a new chapter in the story (in Japanese).

I want this so badly that I've had it on preorder since July. Unfortunately the government decided I needed to have expensive medical checks done if I wanted to stay in the country so the money I had saved for this got used on that . I know I won't be able to afford it this side of Christmas but fingers crossed it is still in stock somewhere in January, I'll be heartbroken if I miss out.
