Now do i try and find money in my toy budget to get the 1/60 GBP ... or try and hunt down one that fits the first release 1/60...

(If i havent mentioned before, i had (have?) every first release yamato 1/60 from original series/movie except the ostrich, with the spare parts (including full gbp armor) stored in a money box. Someone stole my money box... so all my figures are stuck in the mode they were in on my shelf at the time :-(

Man that sux to hear that you lost all that .... but how big was your money box ...
i think hunting the GBP armor for the first release down for a good price would be pretty hard now... and it would be close to the price of the new one i reckon ....so go with a new one...

Since I've got three 1/60 figs in the last 2 months, this will be my last one until after tax time. Gotta take some time to decide which one next.
I don't need to tell you how awesome this YF-29 is. If you read this thread then you already know.

Like observed, there are people who will only buy YF-29 s only. I would trade my 29 for the vf-19A if I could.

It does have a green visor. Only thing that's purple is the canopy. And while green would have been better, purple is still pretty good.

Of course, it all pales in comparison to my YF-19

It was a tin I got in high school that came full of chupa-chups, with a coin slot in the top. Sadly almost everything was in fighter, except for fokker strike 1s, cannon fodder, and vf-1d (that had super armor on for fun) and hikaru 1j. So yeah I dont mind with most of them, but the main thing is that i have no white heat shield that doesnt have a hole in it for gbp, as the CF is brown, strike is black etc. also having the 1d stuck in battroid cos no 2 seat canopy :-(

Edit: the story was I pooped foen to the corner shop, someone broke in through my kitchen window, when i came back soon i had no idea and they went out the balcony, i didnt even notice anything missing for a couple of weeks (though ofc i did notice and report due to the broken window and open balcony). I guess they panicked and just grabbed the big heavy tin hoping it was coins and took off...
