    Default Singapore TF Shopping

My mate will be going to SG for a week in April & has already asked if I want some items. Where can he go for TF (for me) & Gundam (for him) shopping?

Do they have any TF's that are different from us here in Oz? Like TakaraTomy TA's?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

You might want to ask your friend if he refers to Gundam kits or toys.

There is a hobby shop at Sunshine Plaza that sells Gundam kits and paints and supplies at pretty much "cheap" prices. Saying this as if you are buying kits from HLJ you may or may not save some money. Kind of a hassle thingy to lug kits where HLJ ships to your door and you saved maybe $20 tops for the trouble.

Most departmental stores do hold the general Gundam kits as unlike here in Australia Gundam is only found in specialised hobby stores.

You will find that China Square is the one stop for your friend to visit on a SUNDAY make sure he is there about from 10:30ish onwards. As people do sell like a flea mart (free access). You find both Gundam and TFs toys.

As drifand said, go to China Square on a Sunday morning. There is a nice cafe on the ground floor to have a coffee if you want to get there early and also have a look around before the place opens and gets really busy. But honestly there seems less and less smaller toy shops around now and they seem to be grouped together. Plaza Singapura on the upper levels had about 4-5 shops there. ToysRus on Orchard Road are good (I think there is 2, one inside a shopping complex on the first floor and another off the main road at ground level). Just have fun and walk around like I normally do.

    Valkyrie's SDF:
Transformer grails: MIB Minerva(the dream is OVER!!!! ), MIB Kiss Player Atariscream, MIB Kiss Player Sparkabots, Kiss Player Manga.

My link above shows what to expect at China Square, and the two Orchard Road TRU stores.
Also worth checking out is Falcon's Hanger, over in another part of the city, if it is still operating.

There is also another toysrus at sun tech city.

The major shopping shops which are like Kmart etc are metro, John little, seiyu, takashimaiya, carryfoul, og, etc. they don't really carry masterpiece toys but may have yotg soundwave.

Falcons hangar is located at Far East shopping centre and I won't recommend first timers as it is a mission to find the store. But if you have free time, go for it.

Yes, it took us about half an hour to find Falcon's Hanger... and only ended up finding it by chance.

This is their website, showing their location and address.

Orchard Road also has a Japanese Department store opposite the Eastern TRU store, which had a nicely sized toy section.
