For more details about the core mould, see the AoE Crosshairs review thread.

This new deco is clearly a homage to G1 Tracks, but named Hot Shot, possibly because TFP Hot Shot also bears a colour scheme inspired by Tracks, however the deco leans towards G1 Tracks than TFP Hot Shot IMHO.

Bland. This toy is unbelievably even blander than Crosshairs! It feels like a rather "paint by numbers" redeco resulting in 'colour segregation.' At least Crosshairs has the greens and blacks intermingling with each other, allowing the black to break up all the bright green and vice versa. This really hasn't been done nearly as well with Hot Shot. The toy is overwhelmingly blue, and other parts are just black with little other colours to effectively break it all up. The entire helmet has been whitewashed and just feels so lazy. Couldn't they have tried to paint the "goggles" in a separate colour from the helmet? They did for Crosshairs. The eyes have also been coloured in black, rendering the light piping completely useless.

Even the sub-machine gun has had the metallic flakes removed from it, making it more mundane looking than Crosshairs. Wow... they really went the extra kilometre to make this toy look as bland as possible, didn't they? Overall this toy looks like a mock up that you'd expect to see at a product fair to give retail buyers a general idea of what the final product will look like, but with the caveat that it's not. They've also done nothing to make the transformation any easier.

Updated my sales thread I'm offering an extra pair of pistols (so 5 guns in total) as a sweetener, in case anyone feels that either Hot Shot or even Crosshairs might need more guns.

It's only worth getting if you want a movie Tracks. Prime Hot Shot did a better job at making a Hot Shot
I'll update this when I'm needing help finding particular figures
