It does feel like a bit of a rip doesn't it. Though they are getting some big names in, in general. Stan Lee, Mark Wahlburgers, Peter Cullen and Frank Welker stand out to me as being rather expensive, as much as it's a marketing event for Hasbro I expect their budget doesn't stretch quite that far. especially with all the other guests they now have, most of who I couldn't' give two rats about.
I will be very interested to see how this goes as a whole and from the perspective of the transformers fandom.
I'm wondering if they are going to announce a new collector club of some sort and if they will split Hascon up into different product lines or maybe branch back out to a standalone transformers convention as well as Hascon in coming years.
