TRU Castle Hill had 1 of each of the smaller sets, but I could not justify the $50 price tag for such small sets.

Same TRU had series 7 minifigs in the 3 for the price of 2 sale.

Has anyone seen the Marvel Superheroes Lego anywhere else yet or is it only TRU so far?

Big W had the Wolverine and Cosmic Cube escape sets advertised for $38-$39. Whether they have any in stock is another question.

Big W's are definitely cheaper, and the Ballarat one has the Cap/Chitari pack for, the X-Men Helicopter, and something else I can't quite remember... but shit these sets are Toy Story pricing. At best. Don't think I can justify them at all right now.

There's 20% off sales this week at Target which will bring some of the more expensive sets down. Smaller sets are same price as Big W. The Quinjet set is definitely cheaper at $99.

Big W also has the the Cap truck and Wolverine copter in its catalogue so expect it to be in stock there.

But yes, we're getting gouged. Makes me angry at Lego.

I saw Minifigures at Target today.

Also, regarding price, everyone needs to complain to Lego. I've been harassing a senior PR and Communication Manager on Twitter. I have also written a formal complaint via the customer service page on the website.

Won't they blame the retailers for the price gouging?

Big W selling them for $38 is still nearly double the US price, so I do wonder how Lego will respond...

    -EDIT-
So LotR sets are now on sale at lego.com (not sure if they will ship here yet, seems like maybe only US and Canada).
    Original article.
    Prices:
    9469, Gandalf Arrives, $12.99
    9470, Shelob Attacks, $19.99
    9471, Uruk-hai Army, $29.99
    9472, Attack on Weathertop, $59.99
9473, The Mines of Moria, $79.99
    9474, The Battle of Helm's Deep, $129.99
    9476, The Orc Forge, $39.99

I think the Canadian prices will be closer to ours:
    Gandalf Arrives $14.99
    Shelob Attacks $24.99
    Uruk-hai Army $39.99
    Attack on Weathertop $74.99
    The Mines of Moria $99.99
The Battle of Helm's Deep $169.99
    The Orc Forge $49.99

I wonder how they defend those increases considering the two countries have similar currency prices, and same general location...

TRU have a special this week, buy 2 minifigs and get 1 free, so essentially 3 for $10. Series 7 is out there too so grab them there for the best price.
