    Default custom classics Huffer

Made from an armada Optimus Prime and Cyclonus head.

I received the Optimus as part of an ebay lot. It didn't have its smokestacks or targetmaster, so once I found a complete one (thanks Primetime!) I started on this one.

I had been saving the head for a custom Brawn using Hound, but I can't figure out how to do the chest, so I repurposed it.

I know G1 Huffer is a cabover and not a longnose prime mover, but what can you do? My main goal was to have a truck that didn't look like classics Optimus.

no one ever said that his shoulders had to be like a humans!, a lot of the g1 cars had oddball arm locations.

I really like the silver, is that a chrome finish? how did you do it?

The silver is a silver-chrome spray paint (the cheapest one from Bunnings, IIRC). I sprayed a bit in the lid and used a brush to paint the arms. I was surprised at how well it turned out.

The engine grill has also been painted silver but that doesn't seem to have come out as strongly as the arms.
