JP GO! Optimus triple-changer

No images yet, but the description just released through an online store sounds interesting.

G26 Optimus EX Prime is said to have three modes - Train, Dragon, Robot - and can combine with the previously released JP-exclusive combiners.

(It only notes the two main Combiner figures Kenzan (police car) and Gekisoumaru (lion) as an ultimate leader combiner, but that should mean this Optimus can combine with any two of the six.)

Said to be out in January in Japan.

I wonder what the background story on this figure will be, to explain a "Predacon" alt-mode for Optimus.


(considering how bad most of the other six turned out as individual figures just to incorporate the multi-combiner gimmick, I fear that this one might look even worse if it has two alt-modes AND the combiner gimmick)

An Optimus that transformers into a train and a dragon, well.... thats just so weird I'm not sure what to say. But then we've had ones that turn into sneakers and hats so...

and don't get me started on the Megatron that turned into a giant hand

I was thinking the opposite! That the train mode will be the dragon in a 'lie-down' position
