    Alright! A scavengers issue.

I’ve not touched any of the crossover stuff or even the ongoing cyber ton series in well over a year and still feel like I’ve missed nothing, it’s a shame IDW and Hasblow screwed the pooch with their combined universe garbage!

Updated the upcoming books & TPBs section, and included links to Amazon (not to promote them, but for anyone needing to find out more about each item).

All three of the December books were delayed, with the Wreckers Saga delayed 7 months to July now.
And that's not the worst of the delays (which seems to be quite common for IDW now), as the TFs/GIJoe Quintessential HC book is now delayed 9 months from its original listing.

I also can't seem to find the "First Strike: Hasbro Comic Book Event" anymore, and I can't remember what it was, or if it was just renamed or rolled into something else yet to be released.

With this whole shared universe rubbish IDW and Hasbro have forced upon us, the quality of bthe transformers books has rapidly declined, somtoo have their sales. It’s now too hard to keep track of all the one shots, crossovers and who is where and doing what. Not just for the readers either, it seems IDW, their writers and artists don’t really know what is going on anymore either.

Such a waste when you consider before the shared universe how strong all three main series were going. MtMtE was (and still is) the black sheep that did just about everything right, RiD was a political series that was really hitting its straps before Dark Cybertorn and Windblade had a completely different feel with a fish out of water take.

    Ah well.

There is also the question of how far into IDW's run will Hatchette go. It sounds like licensing forced them to focus on pre-IDW early on (almost 40% have been released in England so far, and only 1 volume above volume 60 has been released, of the expected 80 volumes). With volume 64 covering the first Windblade story from about 2014, it means 15 volumes to cover stories printed in the 3 years since then (plus the 2 years left of the release of the remaining 50 volumes), so I think they are allowing themselves space for what they estimate will be available for them to use... which has me now pausing my purchasing of IDW TPBs from Amazon until I know for sure what IDW stories that Hatchette won't be doing. (so that I will then buy anything after Hatchette's run, and not double up on stories that they do cover within their 80 volumes)

The first issue of TFs vs Visionaries apparently sold out, so IDW will be doing a second printing for release at the end of this month (aiming to hit comic shops with issue 2).

Apparently, the alt-mode of the "Autobot" Megatron hasn't been seen in the comic yet, so a rough sketch was tweeted out by the IDW artist Alex Milne.
