Looks like with the lengthy delay on the Wrecker wave, the two toys being packed in with the case of 8 (Optimus & Jazz... and I think Shockwave), have had some changes, with at least one being intentional.
Jazz now has a painted visor.

The other differences are minor, with the packaging colours and the plastic colours being slightly darker.

Ah excellent, another running change variant, my favourite.
Anyone ordering a Ruination case needing to offload those flimsy, hollow Jazzes?

Wow, the MP Soundwave packaging sure is a departure from Hasbro's usual MP packaging. Makes it look more like a serious adult collectable rather than a for-kids toy (which is how previous Hasbro MP packaging feels like to me, being prominently window).

But the attempt to put the Japanese word for Masterpiece there feels weird for several reasons.
1) In Japan Masterpieces are just called "Masterpiece" (Masutaapiisu); so directly derived from English.
2) Even if Hasbro wanted to use the Japanese word for masterpiece (kessaku), in this context it should be called kessakuban (傑作版). But I suppose that this package is really intended for English language markets, so the Kanji is purely ornamental... much like all the poorly spelt and weird English ("Engrish") on Japanese packaging. What do we call this? "Neehongo"?

I actually wanted a clear display box for Soundwave (like all the other Hasbro release MPs). A closed box is a bit disappointing.

The in hand photos of Impactor makes me actually want him now. The rest are a pass but that's a good likeness (colours aside).
