Does anyone remember Mighty Muggs from 2007 to 2011... well before the similar concept done by Funko Pop Vinyls... well, they could be making a
return from Hasbro according to a Trademark listing/renewal.
Not necessarily because the original Mighty Muggs did well (they didn't... they shelfwarmed... and the line was cancelled before the fourth wave was
released), but more likely to cash in on the perceived popularity of the Funko figures.
Or it could just be a renewal of the trademark, just in case they want to do more... as it is now ten years since the first one came out, and
Trademarks like these go for 10 years.

The Mighty Muggs released 10 years ago were...

Autobots - Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Grimlock, Jazz, Movie Optimus Prime, Movie Bumblebee,
Decepticons - Megatron, Starscream, Shockwave, Soundwave,
Exclusives - SDCC 2009 Optimus Prime, SDCC 2010 Prowl
(proposed but not released - Ironhide - not in photo)

The Funko Pop Vinyls shelfwarm in the hundreds in stores here and still don't sell when discounted to half price or less... so if Hasbro are doing
them again soon, they are trying to cash in on something after it has already over-saturated the market.
I just can't see retailers or collector stores jumping on Mighty Muggs while they are stuck with Pop Vinyls, which they would have to sell at a loss just to get rid of them.
