I spoke to a staffer who seemed pretty in the know for some items across Australia a couple of days ago, and they said it could be getting held for the next sale... they try for one every holidays. Would make sense to split a pair up to vary the sales up a bit...

I am not fully over the ACCC legalities but I am pretty sure that they are in breach of advertising requirements with the G2 prime.

It is a new product and they are saying Now $199 save $100. I am pretty sure you cannot say it has been discounted unless it has been sold at the original price for a reasonable amount of time even if it is $100 less then RRP it does not matter. I think it was originally used to stop companies from lifting price then advertising a reduction.
