    Heroic Decepticon has some great articles on his blog about this specific to boxes, and the answer is still lighter fluid.

    I gotta say Zippo lighter fluid is fantastic. As described by HD, the stuff lifts old stickers easy as you like. Here's a shot of where the sticker used to be, you can just make out the outline.

    Word. We were just talking about it yesterday at the Brisbane meet. The stickers are even reusable after they dry.

    Stickers are certainly reusable after they dry. If further proof is needed, this is a toy where I removed all stickers, soaked the parts in H2O2 to whiten, and after whitening, reapplied all the stickers. (I didn't remove any stickers that were on black parts)
