That isn't a Tokyo exclusive the mp-25l is.
Tokyo exclusive is meant at the show.

Ah I see. Mixed terminologies. I meant announcements in general, rather than show exclusives.

I don't agree with this really as I have pointed out before:

G1 Optimus is NOT a Peterbilt! *mutters about movies corrupting the knowledge of the fanbase and winks mischeviously*

As far as I'm aware he's "kind of" a Freightliner but there was no licensing needed for the original. Anyone know why G1 OP wasn't ever licensed? Or was he non-standard enough he didn't come under any company's official design specs?

I don't understand why anyone would want a Hasbro MP Bumblebee if he is identical to the TT one. After all, genuine collectors would already have the TT version which, for a start, has a MUCH nicer box.
And at that price you can still buy the TT one here for cheaper... kinda crazy.
G1 Optimus Prime (incl. MPs) is a Freightliner FL86.

The T-800 even drove an FL86 in Terminator 2: Judgement Day (Nemesis Prime'd!). And Age of Extinction Galvatron is a Freightliner Argosy.

Lighting is such an important factor, as well as the toon's cell shading. Get the right lighting on the Hasbro MP10 and you'd be there I reckon...

HasTak's Daimler Trucks licence allows them to use Freightliner.

A brilliant piece of engineering i.e. the bonnet flap sliding into the body, was butchered by the horrible stock photography.

People often blame the photographers, but I think it's Hasbro that don't really respect the brilliant engineering work done by TakTom, as ultimately they're the people who provide instructions to the photographers and approve the stock photography. In those "designer desk" videos, Hasbro designers mis-transform the Combiner Wars figures they were meant to promote horribly. Imagine if you put in the effort to design a toy, you'd want to show it off properly. I've never seen TakTom designers mis-transform any figures in any of the magazine or video interview.

    But I digress.
