Anybody had experience with DHL GST collection?

Has anyone purchased from o/s since the GST rubbish came in with delivery by DHL & had to pay tax to them?

Just wondering if they only charge the 10% or are there a whole bunch of fees on top also??

It's up to the retailer not shipping companies to collect GST. We have an ever growing list of what TF retailers are collecting GST here.

Shipping of a purchase to Australia attracts GST, so if you didn't already pay GST to the business when paying for your shipping, then the shipper has the right to collect GST (if you don't think that the money is going to the ATO, contact the ATO to check if it is).
And if you already paid GST on the shipping (when paying for your item and it's GST), then report the business to the ATO for double charging the GST.
