    Default Kreo is back, again

Kre-O is seems to be the line that just won't die.

After a big launch in 2011 with mostly movie characters, and a follow-up of mostly Gen1 characters in 2012 (including a movie inspired Devastator), then Beast Hunters in 2013, TF4 Movie in 2014, and RID & Gen1 in 2015... all the while, releasing mini-figures that could either transform or combine (or do nothing if they were from the first few waves).

Then it all seemed to end, as the Beast Hunters, TF4 and RID construction kits were seeing more and more sporadic releases, with most countries not even seeing them, the (early) 2015 range appeared to be the last (with some of the transforming construction sets of Gen1 characters not seeing release at all)... but since then, something new keeps getting found at discount dollar stores in America, or as a freebie item at the NY Toyfair.

Throughout 2015 and 2016, we saw random releases in America of previous construction sets that were missing parts or had new modified parts, like the microchangers, to have the chest paint details that were hidden on the first release figures, be visible now.

Now in 2017 we have more new figures, and some 2015 re-released figures.
Some of the transforming Gen1 sets from 2015 have been found again in America, along with a new version of Megatron (this time turning into a jet, instead of a tank), and a new Ironhide (which is likely to be a redeco of Racthet).
And RID gets some new Kre-O loving as well, with 12 new Custom Kreons.
Bumblebee, Optimus, Sideswipe and Grimlock are all available in three different decos - Armor Up (regular colours), Blizzard Strike (white deco), and Night Strike (black deco).
They are noted as "Collection 1" on the packaging, but that doesn't mean there will be more to come, as the 2015 RID Custom Kreons were also noted as the first series, but we didn't get any more released.

It surprises me that we don't get these recent cheap sets in Australia, like at the Reject Shop, as the American stores they have been showing up in for the last two years are the equivalent to our Reject Shop chain.

I kind of wish they'd bring back constructbots but expand the line so it could include MASK, Micronauts or ROM

More photos of the new set of RID Custom Kreons, with two regular versions and two white versions, in and out of packaging.

Apparently (according to one of the comments over there), Kre-O has been an ongoing, big(ish) thing in China... which would probably make sense, as it would just look like any other KO Lego product over there.
