They did and it was decapitation and they pretty much proved it wouldn't kill you, just hurt a lot (The Dudesons also proved this).

This would be a good one for them to test out.

Brings back memories of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Black Hole.

Such sweet and macabre childhood movie memories.
Which brings us to where we are today...

I can debunk this one myself. I sleep with a fan on in the room almost every night, and have done so for years. I'm still alive, last I checked.

(I fall asleep MUCH easier with a droning noise in the background)

You used to be married too?

Women... You can't live with them, you can't live with them.

Actually I understand where dirge is coming from. I had an old ceiling fan which at the time, may have been older than myself. Had a bit of noise to it, nothing major though but it was eventually replaced. The new one had no noise whatsoever. First night with it was a weird sleep as I always need some form of background noise to drown out my background thoughts.

I'm going to use this next time my wife complains about droning noises....

I like sleeping with everything silent or at least distant noises that don't muddle immediate soundings.

So if a burglar sneaks into my unit at night I can hear him and kill him before he gets to me and my collection.

I can sometimes hear the pile of TFs under my tele shifting in the middle of the night...
