The Blue Power Jet is a nice looking set. The colour scheme is very 'USA'. At $68 sale price (from $89.95 RRP) it's a pretty good deal. How much was 31037 Adventure Vehicles on sale for at Big W?

Thanks for the heads-up. The jet was in last week's catalogue for $68 (??!!). At $55 it's almost 40% off RRP, almost a 'Drop Zone' price. Big W did the same thing with the Technic Street Bike (42036) from $38 to $35. That's about 30% off RRP (not quote Drop Zone though).

Built the Jet today. It is brilliant!
Next on the list to build is the Pirates Chess set.

Were there many leftover pieces? Only gripe is landing gear should have smooth tyres.

Did anyone's local Big W's get the Helicarrier in, and if so, how many? Is the box fairly large?

Hugely large.... Death Star/SSD large. Sydney opera house large.

Or if your not in that league, size of 2 old school modulars.

Hardly any pieces left over. I actually think the wheels are too big and should be smaller.

They look a little out of place. Better suited to a land vehicle like a... tractor.
