VEHICLE MODE:



A good approximation to the flying vehicle mode seen in the cartoon. Only bad thing here is that the front is a bit messy and you can see the top of his head from behind. Otherwise, excellent vehicle mode.

TRANSFORMATION:

Basic, but clever. Basically, you flip the cockpit with wings over, and separate his arms and legs. This means that if you look at the underside in vehicle mode you can see the whole robot.

ROBOT MODE:



An amazing robot mode, Air Vehicon looks great. The sculpting is very detailed. Articulation is restricted to balljointed shoulders and hips (with some up down movement for the feet). He feels a bit small and fragile though but a good looking bot.

It's surprising at how much detail the Legion figure captured.

OVERALL:

A fun little figure, recommended!

Yes it's a great little Legion. I have 7 of them so far. ...all have names!
My only complaints are the holes in the wings and too much purple and not enough black.

He's a natty little bloke, cool weapon, nice little Transform and good on scale with the regular legion Vehicon. Now to set them up so my Commander Hardshell can intimidate the hell out of'em

too much purple and not enough black.

The Takara version is far more black. But last I saw it's $10 online and that's before postage, whereas this guy is on the shelves here and now for $8. I don't mind all the purple in robot mode, but I agree in vehicle mode it doesn't suit.
